I offer this beautiful 1965 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible. This Bonneville has a great story behind it so let me tell you about it first then I will describe the car. This Bonneville was purchased by a Pontiac enthusiast for the sole purpose of going to the Bonneville Salt Flats for speed week September of last year. New brakes including new drums were installed along with a new driveshaft including U joints. An aluminum oversize radiator was installed. New starter, alternator, and Petronix ignition system was installed. The body functions and features were tended to. The Bonneville made this amazing journey with flying colors and did not encounter any break downs. The motor works fine and we are awaiting hydraulic fluid to add to the system. Now about the car itself. What is so neat are the original factory bucket seats. In fact the entire interior looks to be original. The carpet has been replaced and the convertible top is new. The dash cover is original and has no cracks. The body is very nice with a past respray of reasonable quality. The body is very solid with no rust bubbles to be seen. Please notice how nice the rare rocker panel moldings are and the full skirts. The bumpers are original and still have a deep chrome shine. The rare spinner wheel covers are beautiful and the tires were new before the trip. The under hood detail is very nice being painted in the correct Pontiac blue. The exhaust appears new and is a dual system. The paint code is C1 which is the original white.
